The main component is the chelating form of titanium acetylacetonate, which is stable at normal temperature. With the volatilization of solvent during use, titanium acetylacetonate can cross-link with active groups such as-OH,-COOH,-NH2,-CONH2 and-SH in the substrate, ink and coating, forming bridges, increasing the molecular weight, thus improving the heat resistance, chemical resistance, water resistance, drying and many other properties. The resin and the substrate through the bridge effect of titanate finally make the ink, coating adhesion is improved.

● Improve the adhesion of inks and coatings to substrates (pretreated plastics, aluminum foil, metal, glass).

● Improve the scratch resistance, water resistance, solvent resistance and boiling resistance of inks and coatings.

Improve the drying speed of ink, paint, surface gloss and pigment dispersion.

7. method of use:

● The substrate (plastic, aluminum foil, metal, glass) usually must be pretreated, such as electric spark, discharge or chemical treatment, the treated substrate will produce-OH,-COOH and other active groups.

● Addition amount: 0.5-3% (resin solid content)

● Add time: It is recommended to add in the final stage of ink and paint manufacturing, and the temperature is below 40°C. The substrate must be pretreated with a surface tension above 36-38 dynes.

● Processing ink must be dried after printing at 60°C for 1 minute to allow the titanate to react with the substrate.

8. notes:

● Phenolic antioxidants and titanium chelate will cause the color to become darker, in order to avoid such problems, such as: in white ink, transparent ink and light color paint on the proposed use of aluminum chelate.

● This product is a strong chelating agent and metal chelating reaction, it is recommended to use plastic bucket storage.

● Storage and expiration date: sealed and stored in a cool, dry and ventilated place, away from light and heat insulation. The validity period is one year, and the expired products can only be used after passing the test.
