In general, the silane coupling agent has the slowest hydrolysis reaction rate in water with a pH value of 7, that is, the hydrolysis rate in neutral water. Acid or alkali for silane hydrolysis reaction has obvious catalytic acceleration, so non amino silane hydrolysis generally to the pH value of the aqueous solution to 3~5 that is acidic conditions; and amino silane solution has strong alkaline, so most amino silicon hydrolysis directly use neutral water on the line.
