Effect of KH550 silane coupling agent on the structure and dielectric properties of composites

The surface of Ba TiO3 powder was treated with KH550 silane coupling agent, and the Ba2TiO3 / PVDF composite was prepared by solution mixing method and hot pressing process. The effect of the amount of coupling agent on the microstructure of Ba TiO3 / PVDF composites was analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. The dielectric properties of the composites were studied by impedance analyzer. It was found that the amount of coupling agent had a great influence on the dielectric properties of the composites. When the amount of coupling agent was 1% (mass fraction), the dielectric constant of the composite with the volume fraction of TiO3 Ba 40% is as high as 51.
